The "Safe Space Safer World" project is a targeted initiative aimed at educating school girls, their families, and school staff in Kathmandu Valley on recognizing, preventing, and addressing sexual violence. By establishing girl clubs within three schools, the project will create safe spaces supervised by trusted female staff. These clubs will facilitate open discussions on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and provide ongoing support. The project will involve age-specific training for school girls, educational sessions for school staff on trauma-informed approaches, and awareness programs for parents and guardians to promote open dialogue and supportive responses within families.

The project will be executed in three phases: the initial phase will focus on finalizing partnerships with schools and developing training resources; the execution phase will implement the training programs and establish the girl clubs; and the closing phase will ensure the sustainability of the initiative through continued activities led by the clubs. The effectiveness of the project will be assessed through pre and post-training surveys, qualitative interviews, and periodic reporting from the girl clubs. The initiative aims to create a safer school environment and foster a community of advocates against sexual violence.
